I want to connect my vizio E55-E2, amazon tv box, and RCA RTD3266 so i get surround sound with whatever i'm watching. I want to connect my iPhone 5s to my Vizio smart TV without cords or Wi-Fi or hotspot does my phones data I've tried searching around the web, but the only solutions I've seen are to reduce the resolution. There doesn't look like there are any special drivers to download for Vizio TVs. The resolution being used when the laptop displays on the tv is 1600 X 900. It always resulted in the Not Support message. I've tried reducing the resolution from the PC, but no setting helped. I can connect the ports to other hdmi devices without issue. It has four, and all result in the same problem. It's not the specific hdmi port on the TV. Oddly, I can connect a laptop I have (which is also a Vizio brand) to the TV via hdmi, and it immediately displays on the screen.Ĥ.

I have another HDTV (Sony), and connecting that to my pc immediately shows the display on the TV.ģ. I can connect the TV using the cable to other devices (apple TV, ps3) without issue.Ģ. Opening up the nvidia control panel, the TV is indeed being detected as another monitor.ġ. When I connect the TV via hdmi to the PC, I get a 'Not support' message on the TV. I have a PC with a Nvidia GTX560 card (with a mini hdmi output). Been troubleshooting this for a bit, and I'm out of ideas.
